The 32nd annual late Dr. V. R Paithankar memorial oration and the 14th late Dr. Nirmala Mokadam Lifetime Achievement Award function was held at NARCAOOD physiotherapy centre, Nagpur, on 28th July 2024
As a part of 'Mission 100 days', a health outreach camp and workshop was organised by the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, IGGMC Nagpur in collaboration with Nagpur Association For The Rehabilitation of Children and Adults with Orthopaedic and Other Disabilities ( NARCAOD ).
The theme of this workshop was sensitising the public on the Importance of Organ Donation and the issue of
increasing Obesity in society along with a training of COLS( Compression only Life Support).
The workshop was conducted by Dr Parag Sable (Assistant Professor), Dr Rajat Shirpurkar (Assistant Professor),
Dr Vighnesh C.S. (Senior Resident) and Dr Kiran Sonavane (Post graduation student) for the staff and patients
of the NORCOAD institute.
Dr Neeta Modak ( Director of NORCOAD ) organised and supervised the entire activity. The participants had an
opportunity of hands on training and actively participated in the same by clearing their various doubts through
their insightful questions and also a positive feedback about today's activity.
This initiative was envisioned by our HOD Dr V.C. Shelgaonkar ma'am, under whos guidance and leadership the
camp was organised successfully.
