Children are just little adults – they continue to grow and change all the time. We, at our paediatric physiotherapy unit focus on minimizing the efforts of physical impairment to promote optimum function and musculoskeletal development. We try to keep therapy as fun and exciting as possible in order to gain maximum participation from children.

Our paediatric physiotherapist, Dr. Alpana Muley, has gained extensive experience across the field.

We use evidence based practice and continue to update our professional skills to offer a holistic approach while treating a child with special needs. We are able to work closely with consultants, doctors, family, teachers and other health professionals with emphasis on practical approach. We assess and treat children between the age 0-19 years. For better outcome and effective treatments results early referrel is the key [as early as 6-8 months].

Pre and post operative treatment and therapy :

  A through assessment of the reffered children and advice to parents and care givers regarding handling, positioning and treatment through play/and/or excersise . Sometimes home visits or visits to school are done if the need arises so.
  Advice on appropriate handling and equipment including seating, standing frames, mobility aids.
